Harvest has begun in many places in North America, and soon the vines will begin to take on their fall colors. As someone who grew up with a distinct Autumn, marked by brilliant color, I cherish the few signs of that season we get here in northern California. Especially the vines in their various hues -- Alder Yarrow

wrote:What a beautiful photo - what gorgeous color ! These grape leaves rival the hues of October maples here in Vermont. I have never seen a vineyard in autumn... it must be spectacular. When do you feel the vines are at their most brilliant in California?. Andy's latest photo is stirring my travel bug. Maybe it's time to pay my California friends a visit ! Thank you once again for bringing us these beautiful images Andy and Alder.
