I’m not about to set up a police blotter on this site, but couldn’t help sharing the slightly humourous and definitely poignant tale of one Adam Belsky, who recently had a prized collection of 249 bottles of wine stolen from his house. The wine ended up at a small time liquor store elsewhere in the city, and tipped off by the police, Belsky went to the store and was offered several of his own bottles at a “special for you today” 20% off the retail price. Ouch. That smarts.
