There’s always something worth celebrating. Not like you need an excuse to pop another cork. However if you’re at a loss for something to toast this evening, you would do worse than to toast the repeal of Prohibition, 71 years ago today. Yes, that’s right, a mere 71 years since the country regained its senses. I’ll leave it to others to discuss if we’re still in posession of them. In the meantime, drink to being able to have a drink.
