I’m beginning to get a little overwhelmed by the press that the holiday season has bestowed on Vinography. Any more and I’ll have to give it it’s own category.
In yet another gracious and praiseworthy mention, this site was featured in Mike Dunne’s end of the year wine wrap up today in the Sacramento Bee. Mike expanded his usual Best Red, Best White of the Year coverage to include several other categories of wine, one of which was Wine Blogs, where he had this to say about Vinography:
“Alder Yarrow’s San Francisco-based blog – www.vinography.com – only recently came to my attention, but I promptly added it to my short list of wine favorites.
In contrast to many bloggers, Yarrow, a Web site designer with a healthy appetite for fine wine and fashionable restaurants, updates his site frequently with cogent commentaries on topics from wines he tastes to restaurants he visits.Vinography is just a year old, but in addition to Yarrow’s current reviews and rants, the easily accessible site provides links to his extensive archives and many other choice wine and food blogs.”
You can see the other items Mike deemed worthy of mention here.
