This month’s tasting, the 12th, marking a full year since the event began in 2004 was hosted by Lenn at Lenndevours, who conceived of the concept.

This month’s theme was “Drink Local. Real Local.” And bloggers were given strict instructions to drink a wine from the winery closest to their house. This led to all sorts of interesting wines, and a record turnout for the event.
