There are cool wine stores. There are amazing wine bars. And then there is Les Marchands, the epitome of both and the epicenter of everything good about wine in Santa Barbara.

Since I’ll be in town for the World of Pinot Noir event, the kind folks at Les Marchands thought to have me in for a little event featuring my book, The Essence of Wine, and some of the local wineries that I feature in the book.

Come join us for a talk and reading, and more importantly a tasting of some fantastic wines on Sunday, March 8th at 1:00 PM.

I’ll be joined by Sandhi Wines, Palmina, Dierberg/Star Lane, Bien Nacido Vineyards, and Presqu’ile Winery who will be generously pouring their wines for us all to enjoy.

I hope if you’re in the area, or not too far away, you’ll join us for a relaxed and tasty afternoon. I will of course be selling and signing copies of the book. And it’s free!!
