Episode 292 of I’ll Drink to That has been released and features June Rodil of the McGuire Moorman Hospitality Group in Austin, Texas.
June Rodil is one of those folks who you listen to and hear what she has been up to, and then think, Wow, some amazing people work in the hospitality business. June is just a blitzkrieg of positive enthusiasm and get it done attitude. And she says things in this interview that people who are twice her age and who have read every possible management book ever published still struggle to grasp. She does not always seem just a person, there is a little bit of a force of nature in there as well. And that force of nature brings a smile. June likes to laugh. I dare you to listen to this interview and not be brought in on the good vibe. But I should note in particular that this interview is the first of the TEXAS-SERIES-VA-VA-BOOM!! As I’ll Drink to That! has taken up a road show through the big TX, engaging key figures from the Texas wine industry in sit downs to talk about the state of their State and wine. This has a precedent in the series of Chicago interviews that was released on IDTT some time ago, but this time is a whole new spin, and it takes in a powerhouse wine economy of a state. How will the stampede of Texas interviews go? Well, the June Rodil episode is a positive indication that this trip could be a very good one indeed.
