The Bottom of the Tank
PESSAC, FRANCE: The last drops of the vintage make the bottom of a tank at Château Haut-Brion in Bordeaux shine like rubies. The estate dates back to the year 1525, with the main chateau building begun in 1549. Haut-Brion is unusual among the list of Bordeaux’s First Growths as it is the only property in the Pessac-Léognan region of the area known as Graves.
