Got any plans for this coming weekend? Feel like tasting a bunch of great Napa wines? The Napa Valley Wine Library Association has you covered.
This association, which exists to maintain a truly excellent selection of books on wine for the Napa community, counts many winemakers amongst its members, and as a fundraiser (and frankly, a member benefit) the Association puts on a wine tasting every year that ends up being one of the most enjoyable public wine tasting events held in Napa.
In a new venue this year on the grounds of the Louis M. Martini winery in St. Helena, the event represents a great chance to taste a whole bunch of Napa wine in one setting, which, for members of the general public, isn’t that common of an event.
This year’s event will feature 53 Napa Valley wineries pouring more than 109 wines, including 47 Cabernets from 17 different Napa Appellations, plus tasty bites from La Saison Napa Catering. Here’s the specific list of wines being poured if you’re interested.
It’s an excellent event, for a good, literary cause, and one I highly recommend as an afternoon’s diversion for any wine lover.
