I’m not a Muscat lover generally, but after opening this wine sample the other day I just can’t stop drinking it. It’s just got the perfect balance of beautiful honeydew and green apple fruit welded to rainwater and crushed rocks with the tiniest bit of sweetness. It ain’t a profound wine by any means but it’s a damn joyful one. Made by a delightful and dedicated tiny family producer - Erzsebet Pince - a rarity in the Tokaj world that is dominated by larger, more corporate wineries. @tastehungary

Three wines to drink over dinner and a discussion of a dystopian future. I’d definitely want a bottle of all three of these if I were trapped in an underground silo 144 stories deep. Time to drink the @domainedelajanasse Chaupin, I think, but it was rich and delicious. The @pichlerkrutzler Grüner was singing and could clearly go another 12 years, while the @domainevadinplateau was gulpable in its Meunier berry and zero-dosage crispness. A fantastic trio.
