A new aroma wheel created by the South African Sav

A new aroma wheel created by the South African Sav Blanc association. Interesting because it has local aromas like fynbos, buchu, and khaki bush on it. But really, I have a design problem with ALL aroma wheels because of what I see is an improper ratio of structure to meaning. Yes, aroma wheels are organized, but that organization is heavy and clunky, and the arrangement itself (the wheel, the nested categorization of aromas) conveys very little added meaning to compensate for the awkward readability of the whole. Also? Who has a round wallet? Not to mention the fact that most aroma wheels don't have many of the things I taste and smell in wine. That's why, once upon a time, I created my aroma cards.
