FORT ROSS, CA: Evening light highlights autumn vine leaves at Flowers Vineyard & Winery, located in the Fort Ross-Seaview wine appellation near Fort Ross, California. Approved in 2011, The Fort Ross-Seaview appellation contains some of California’s coolest locations for growing grapes. Pioneers like Flowers planted grapes during a time when scientists suggested the region was too cold to ripen Pinot Noir.
