The Old Vine Registry Turns Two: A Webinar

June 26th will mark the second anniversary of launching the Old Vine Registry. I’ve put quite a lot of volunteer work into this passion project of mine in that time, and I’m really pleased with how far we’ve come.

In two years, the Old Vine Registry has more than tripled in size, thanks in part to contributions from volunteers around the globe. We’re making great progress towards our goal of registering 10,000 vineyards by this time next year.

On June 26th at 5:00 PM BST / 12:00 PM ET / 9:00 AM PT, please join me, Sarah Abbott MW of the Old Vine Conference, as well as Alessandro Torcoli, the man behind the impressive Censimento delle Vecchie Vigne registry of old Italian vines, for a review of just how far the OVR has come, and where it’s going.

You can register for the free webinar here.

During the webinar, I’ll share updates and insights from the registry’s growth, and highlight new and improved features of the constantly evolving website. Alessandro Torcoli will provide insight into the impressive Censimento delle Vecchie Vigne, an independent registry of Italy’s oldest vineyards now incorporated into the Old Vine Registry.

Finally, we will announce the first-year winners of the Heritage Vine Hunt Contest. Three lucky volunteer contributors will take home some prizes and bragging rights after having contributed the most new vineyard records to the registry in the past year.

I hope you will join us for the discussion.
